Dr. Akeel Ahamd is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry of Mirza Ghalib College Gaya, Bihar . He has an experience of teaching more than 9 years at college level. His area of interest of teaching are Organic reaction mechanism, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Drugs & Pharmaceuticals.
He has completed his Ph.D Degree in 2014 from Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gorakhpur University Gorakhpur under the supervision of Prof. O.P. Pandey on the topic ‘’ Studies on Heterocyclisation via Michael Addition Reaction (Synthesis & Biological Activities).He has Published 11 Papers in U.G.C listed Journals . He has Presented 26 Papers in U.G.C Sponsored Seminars including Kathmandu Symposia, Indian Science Congress Association & 1st U.P Science Congress in Gorakhpur .He has participated more than 10 U.G.C Sponsored seminars as well. He is also a member of Indian science Congress Association Kolkata (L-17734). He has presented a talk on the topic “ Atomic Structure ‘’ in All India Radio Gorakhpur in 2015. He has awarded best paper presentation in more than 5 seminars. He has Organised a plantation programme on the occasion of 26th January 2015 in ABPG College Gorakhpur. He has a Joint secretary in the Conference on the topic Recent Advances in Material Research in the Department of Chemistry Marwar Business School Gorakhpur. He has obtained U.G.C Fellowship from (2009-2012) & a DSA-BSR Fellowship from (2012-2014). He has Organised a Science Exhibition in the memory of (Late) Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam in ABPG College Gorakhpur.
He got silver medal in badminton Championship Organised in ABPG College Gorakhpur.
